Why should teens workout?

Being a teen can be challenging both physically and mentally. The best thing we can do is make our teens strong. At Ativo, our teen fitness program has two primary goals. First, to help teens develop a love for health and fitness that lasts into adulthood. Studies show that exposing adolescents to fitness can build strong bones and muscles, control weight, reduce anxiety and depression, and lower the risk of health issues. Second, we build strength to protect teens from sport-related injuries. Our personalized approach groups students by similar ages and skill levels, ensuring they get the extra instruction needed to perfect their form and stay safe.

Time offline

Our programs get teenagers off screens, onto their feet, and interacting with others. In the digital age, it's more important than ever to make sure teens stay physically active and engaged with a real-life community.

Lifelong habits

Routines formed in adolescence are easier to sustain through adulthood. We help instill teens with a love for exercise that they'll carry for years to come.
